In the mountainous areas of Jiashan Town and Shanggu Town, Chengde County, Hebei Province, a large-scale 200MW agricultural-solar complementary energy storage integrated demonstration project is rising from the ground, adding a significant touch to the green energy landscape of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region! The total project area spans approximately 5,000 acres, with the flexible mounting section covering about 1,000 acres.
Chengde County, located at the foothills of the Yanshan Mountains, enjoys abundant sunlight, distinct seasons, simultaneous rain and heat, and noticeable local climate variations. The annual sunshine duration ranges from 2,600 to 2,700 hours.
The project is situated in a terrain with diverse undulations, where traditional rigid mounting systems face challenges in adapting to complex topography, efficient land use, and agricultural synergy. The Chengde County Shanggu 200MW Agricultural-Solar Complementary Energy Storage Integrated Demonstration Project is a model for promoting the integration of energy transformation and rural revitalization. Shanghai Chiko provided comprehensive support, from on-site surveys (including field inspections of the surveyed area, observing topography and geology, conducting layout, test piling, and testing) to detailed design (specialized design for the six flexible mounting sections of this project), and through to delivery.
